  • This class is a continuation of the fall semester Fun Science, but please note the slight change in age range. New students and returning students are welcome!  The goal of Fun Science is to introduce learners to a variety of science topics, and make learning about them fun!  Each class time will consist of learning a new topic, or building off of an existing one, followed by some kind of hands-on activity. These activities will consist of a craft/art project that goes along with what we are learning, or a fun experiment. We will have worksheets most weeks which we will either complete together in class, or learners can take them home to complete. Any worksheets taken home are optional, and for extra enrichment only, so no need to bring them back to class. I love teaching science to young learners and I am so excited to teach this class another semester!

  • In this class, students will be introduced to a variety of cultures by learning interesting facts, creating art of the culture and even trying some of their cuisine. Trade influenced much of the worlds cultures by introducing new art materials, tools, and foods from other places.
